The body has the power to heal, find peace and restore balance providing we allow it to do so.
My journey so far
I’m Nicola, let me give you a little history on how I founded Voyage for Health Nutrition and why I do what I do. The main reason is my passion for health and fitness and helping others discover their best self.
I graduated initially with a business degree and started my career within corporate finance. I was fortunate enough to have a career which I loved for over ten years.
I still faced the stress and struggles of working life despite my best intentions. I always found that even when I was most challenged and stressed, I was my best self when I ate a balanced diet and kept my fitness levels up. For someone who loves food as much as I do, it was never about dieting or depriving myself of anything. I believe in simple, natural, unprocessed food and ingredients. Step one of my journey, my mission to bring vitality to the workplace.
Jumping straight in, I joined various corporate wellness teams. I created and managed successful wellness events. My most successful programs included nutrition, fitness; ranging from corporate runs, well-being days and collaborations with a top London gym, mindful events, reflexology and corporate relaxation days.
At the same time, I was also developing @ Voyage for Health blog to create a positive place to inspire and be inspired, share my ideas and create communities around similar interests. I was overwhelmed with the positive feedback I received.
I made a very easy decision to move back into full time study and gained a professional qualification in Nutrition. It was during my three years intensive clinical and classroom training that Voyage for Health Nutrition was born.
Fast forward, I consult at my practice in Shoreditch, I also visit clients at their workplace and am very happily creating wellness programs for businesses throughout London and Dublin. I am excited to meet new people, share their stories with the knowledge that I can help them find their way back to optimal health.

The body has the power to heal and restore balance providing we allow it to do so
My philosophy is simple. I believe good health starts with good nutrition. However, what is good for me may not be good for you. We are all different from each other in how we process toxins, our stress levels, our genetic makeup, our gut microbes (gut flora), our environment, how our body deals with hormones. Through a detailed assessment, I gain a true understanding of the bio-individual make-up of each person and using evidence based research design a protocol for specific needs.
Secondly, I treat the person and not the symptoms. The body is made up of cells, organs and systems which all work together in perfect unity. When any of these become disrupted even at a cellular level the body can produce symptoms of poor health. I always address the core basics first before addressing the next step of care. This is the fundamental belief of my practice today.
I am a member of the Naturopathic Nutrition Association (NNA), the professional association for practice in accordance with naturopathic principles. What does this mean for you? My training and clinical experience are in line with the National Occupational Standards, my professional knowledge is up to date (research and development in this field is continuous) and the care of my clients is my first concern.
I consult at my practice located on Shoreditch High St within close proximity to Liverpool St, Old St and Shoreditch High St underground stations. Can’t get to me? I am happy to visit your workplace in the London area. I also carry out phone and Skype consultations worldwide.
